About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare pre-award documentation
- Support post-award activities
- Assist with contract closeouts as required
- Support federal acquisition and procurement activities across fixed-price, time-and-materials, cost/cost-plus, interagency agreement, IDIQ, and BPA contract vehicles
- Work with subject matter experts, acquisition professionals, and stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Eight (8) years of full-spectrum federal contract experience
- A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, including or supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in specified fields
- Must be FAC-C or DAWIA eligible or possess an equivalent professional Contracting certification such as a CFCM or CPCM
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal contracting procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PRISM or similar contracting writing systems
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to project timelines
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts, acquisition professionals, and stakeholders
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must live within a 90-minute drive to Washington DC
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance, including credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency checks
