About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support federal government clients through contract and procurement expertise
- Procure and manage government acquisitions across fixed-price, time-and-materials, cost/cost-plus, interagency agreements, IDIQ, and BPA vehicles
- Perform market research and pre-solicitation activities
- Support solicitation phase activities
- Perform post-award contract administration
- Perform contract closeout activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ten (10) years or more of full-spectrum federal contract experience
- A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, including or supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management
- Acquisition certification is required, such as FAC-C, DAWIA certification, Industry Certification (ICCM-D, ICCM-F), or NCMA certifications
- Experience with FSMS, PRISM, or similar system is highly sought
- Knowledge and experience in all phases of contract support, including market research/pre-solicitation, solicitation, post-award contract administration, and closeout
- Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance
- Investigation includes a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must live in the Washington DC Metro Area (DMV)
