Design and architect high-quality software systems that are maintainable and scalable
Build high-impact features using Python and Django
Own stack reliability with sophisticated automated testing

Work throughout the backend stack with Python, Django, and PostgreSQL

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional software engineering experience
BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field preferred
Deep proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, Node.js)
Proven track record of designing, building, and delivering scalable technical solutions end-to-end
Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure automation (Terraform, CDK, or similar)
Advanced SQL skills and extensive hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
Direct experience building and deploying application containers using Docker and Kubernetes
Active participation in code reviews, Pull Request workflows, and version control best practices (GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps)
Demonstrated success mentoring junior developers, driving technical alignment, and fostering engineering growth
Solutions-oriented mindset with strong initiative, accountability, and communication skills within collaborative team environments
Ability to partner effectively across cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality features
