About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform pricing for low-complexity dental procedures and plans across the company’s brands.
  • Support pricing analyses and low-complexity actuarial studies involving statistical and numerical analysis under continuous supervision.
  • Contribute to economic analyses of business activities and reviews of low-complexity contracts.
  • Prepare spreadsheets and perform calculations for low-complexity products.
  • Support critical data analyses for low-complexity actuarial calculations.
  • Develop low-complexity statistical and actuarial methodologies applied to health plans under continuous supervision.
  • Prepare and assist in developing consistency tests for databases and methodologies.
  • Support updates to Actuarial Technical Notes.
  • Contribute to portfolio analyses of dental plans and adjustment calculations.
  • Structure simple database queries containing information for reserve calculations.
  • Perform other duties inherent to the role or assigned by the immediate supervisor, according to qualifications, knowledge, and experience.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed or ongoing bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency.
  • Programming and development using statistical software (SQL, SAS).
  • Knowledge of technical reserves, cash flow projections, and data analysis is desirable.
  • Power BI and programming experience are considered a plus.
