About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support client needs throughout the treatment process, including administrative support
- Support the admissions process and client orientation
- Support business office functions related to payment collections and records maintenance
- Greet clients and run morning intentions group
- Provide customer service to clients, families, and clinical partners
- Follow up with clients after treatment and offer access to needed resources
- Manage issues related to FMLA, EAP, disability, legal, financial, and personal therapy matters
- Coordinate communication with clinical partners for admissions and ongoing client care
- Facilitate groups as needed and directed by clinical leadership
- Coordinate groups and schedules, discharge planning, and records maintenance
- Support client communication and feedback initiatives
- Schedule medical and provider appointments
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings
- Coordinate support groups as needed
- Conduct chart audits when requested
- Attend required training and perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral healthcare setting is preferred
- Clearance of criminal background and any other mandatory state/federal requirements
- Working knowledge of current theory and evidence-based practice
- Ability to provide client-centered, culturally competent care
- Ability to assess clinical needs and determine appropriate interventions
- Ability to develop and implement evidence-informed care plans
- Ability to advocate for clients and families
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and referral partners
- Ability to communicate with peers, clients, and/or vendors
- Ability to move twenty-five pounds
