About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide mental health therapy for Odyssey House’s Outpatient Program
- Support adolescents and adults experiencing substance use disorders and behavioral health challenges
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions
- Provide trauma-informed care within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain client records and complete incident reporting
- Manage time, required training, personnel file requirements, and client boundaries
- Ensure a safe environment and uphold individual rights of clients and staff
- Provide exemplary service to internal and external customers
- Foster a positive work environment and deliver high-quality client care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist: CSWi, CSW, LCSW, ACMHC, CMHC, MFTi, AMFT, or LMFT
- Experience working across adverse mental and behavioral symptoms
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of trauma-informed care principles
- Adherence to Odyssey House mission, philosophy, scope of service, and applicable codes and standards
- Ability to ensure a safe environment and provide high-quality client care
- Understanding of role responsibilities, time management, personnel file requirements, client record systems, incident reporting, mandatory training, client boundaries, and individual rights
- Successful completion of required pre-employment screenings, which may include background checks, fingerprinting, registry screenings, and position-related verifications
- Valid Utah driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record review for roles requiring driving
