About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead complex policy work on scope issues, including geographic scope, marketplaces and gaming
- Act as a subject matter expert on the Online Safety Fees regime for internal and external queries
- Lead fees policy reviews, including evidence review, consultation development and policy recommendations
- Lead or support scope assessment, implementation project management and project governance
- Identify risks, dependencies and delivery issues, and provide updates to governance groups
- Lead engagement with providers and cross-functional teams, including senior-level policy discussions
- Lead communications to providers on fees-related policy and implementation issues
- Supervise, coach and mentor junior colleagues, including supporting Associate-led work
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in a regulatory, policy, compliance or similarly evidence-based environment
- Ability to navigate complex issues while balancing policy intent, legal considerations and operational delivery
- Written drafting and presentation skills
- Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritising and delivering work to deadlines
- Ability to build and nurture positive internal and external relationships
- Ability to identify and solve complex issues using evidence-based methods
- Ability to express ideas and information clearly and concisely
- Ability to support, coach and mentor colleagues
- Willingness to work on online safety fees policy and implementation issues
