About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide overall administrative direction and coordination of clinic(s).
- Serve as liaison with administration, physicians, patients and outside organizations.
- Coordinate clinic business, accomplish directives and facilitate resolution of problems.
- Develop, recommend, implement and maintain organizational structure, systems and staffing plans.
- Manage clinic operations while controlling labor costs and clinic expenses.
- Maintain functional knowledge of staff responsibilities.
- Manage assigned staff, including hiring, training, supervision, engagement, performance management, scheduling and payroll approval.
- Initiate coaching, disciplinary action and performance improvement planning.
- Ensure new and existing staff attend and pass Ambulatory Skills Orientation.
- Analyze reports and develop plans to improve financial results, clinic productivity and operational benchmarks.
- Oversee registration, scheduling and provider template functions in coordination with the Corporate Central Access team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2 years of direct managerial or supervision experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, leadership and customer service skills.
- High level of professional integrity and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Ability to interact, communicate, and follow up with individuals at all levels of the organization in a timely manner with poise, tact and diplomacy.
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership and patient experience skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Knowledge of medical office operations and systems.
- Familiarity with guidelines regarding patient confidentiality, OSHA, Joint Commission, customer service, and clinical operations and needs of a medical facility.
- LPN or RN licensing and experience preferred.
