Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One of the following: a diploma from a Medical Assistant Program; minimum of 1 year of medical assisting experience; Military Medic training; EMT-P (Paramedic) training; or equivalent of 1 year combined relevant medical assisting experience and education
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred
  • Direct patient care and routine medical procedures
  • Patient interviewing and history-taking
