About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Function within the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team to provide patient care and supportive services
  • Direct care toward achievement of patient care outcomes
  • Maximize patient involvement in their own care plan
  • Improve service levels and decrease costs
  • Provide individual, group, and couple/family therapy to patients with mental health diagnoses
  • Help patients determine treatment goals and return to previous or improved functioning

  • Provide psychotherapy and related services to primary care patients experiencing stress, stress-related illness, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work
  • Independent Ohio license (LISW or LISW-S) to practice
  • At least two years in independent clinical practice
  • Expertise/training in cognitive-behavioral and/or interpersonal psychotherapy
  • Understanding of the psychosocial aspects of chronic illness
  • Familiarity with the DSM-V
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
