About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide overall administrative direction and coordination of clinic(s)
  • Serve as liaison with administration, physicians, patients and outside organizations
  • Develop, recommend, implement and maintain organizational structure, systems and staffing plans
  • Manage clinic operations, labor costs and clinic expenses
  • Manage assigned staff, including hiring, training, supervision, employee engagement, performance management, scheduling and payroll approval
  • Initiate coaching, disciplinary action and performance improvement planning
  • Ensure staff attend and successfully pass Ambulatory Skills Orientation
  • Analyze reports and develop improvement plans for financial results, clinic productivity and operational benchmarks
  • Oversee registration, scheduling and provider template functions in coordination with the Corporate Central Access team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 2 years of direct managerial or supervision experience, preferably in a clinical setting
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, leadership and customer service skills
  • High level of professional integrity and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and follow up with individuals at all levels of the organization in a timely manner with poise, tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Knowledge of medical office operations and systems
  • Familiarity with guidelines regarding patient confidentiality issues, OSHA, Joint Commission, customer service, and clinical operations and needs of a medical facility
