About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead commissioning, startup, and maintenance activities for deployed electrolyzer systems
- Lead international field personnel, contractors, and/or customer maintenance teams
- Execute site work supporting service contract requirements
- Maintain safety culture for remote field personnel
- Supervise local and remote field teams through goals and objectives
- Perform hands-on field tasks to maintain electrolyzer availability
- Implement maintenance strategies to maximize electrolyzer performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve electrolyzer performance, reliability, and serviceability
- Improve workflows for managing service level agreements
- Refine commissioning and startup processes
- Implement training programs for field personnel
- Maintain warehouses and repair centers for spare parts
- Forecast maintenance operations within the assigned site budget
- Define value-added services for customer needs
- Provide customer safety, operation, and maintenance training
- Prepare reports on tasks, risks, opportunities, and milestones
- Act as the single point of contact for customer queries
- Own local and customer safety requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or engineering preferred, or equivalent expertise through a combination of education, training, and experience
- 5 years of experience in field service with operations and maintenance responsibility preferred
- Strong safety mindset
- Ability to lead, multitask, and delegate
- Ability to work hands-on in a field environment
- Excellent customer focus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel regularly to Spain and Italy
- On-call availability
- Ability to work onsite regularly in Rijeka, Croatia
