About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure clear visibility into the group’s profitability
  • Support the Executive Committee (COMEX) in operational decision-making
  • Help define budget targets for each business unit
  • Implement the tools required to monitor and manage costs
  • Prepare monthly performance reporting for the group
  • Monitor variances between forecast targets and actual results, and propose corrective actions
  • Contribute to cost control through regular cost monitoring
  • Lead monthly business reviews with the general managers of each hotel
  • Lead the Performance Committee
  • Coordinate the preparation of hotel, head office, and consolidated group budgets
  • Prepare reforecasts three times a year
  • Develop and manage reporting tools using Power BI
  • Set up dashboards for the hotels and the Executive Committee
  • Monitor the hotels’ capital expenditure budgets
  • Organize and lead the internal control framework
  • Draft and update internal control documentation
  • Prepare periodic internal control reports and assessments, including one audit per hotel per year
  • Deliver management training for hotel teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong command of accounting and management control
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI
  • Excellent understanding of hotel business models
  • Fluency in English required
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and provide constructive input
  • Strong organizational skills, rigor, and ability to synthesize information
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proactive and responsive
