About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support day-to-day Workday administration, including employee transactions, organizational changes, data updates, and routine system maintenance
- Maintain accurate employee and organizational data through audits, validation, and issue resolution
- Support Workday configuration, process improvements, enhancements, integrations, and semiannual releases
- Test changes, document results, and identify issues
- Create and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics
- Troubleshoot routine Workday questions and transaction issues, escalating complex issues
- Maintain Workday process documentation, job aids, and internal guidance
- Streamline and automate People processes through Workday
- Maintain employee records and data integrity across HR systems
- Support talent operations through headcount tracking and scheduling
- Serve as a contact for employee questions about HR programs, policies, and processes
- Support organizational changes, transfers, and employee data updates
- Assist with policy administration and employee communications
- Support compliance with federal, multi-state, and local employment laws
- Co-manage I-9 administration, employee documentation, and audit readiness
- Assist with leave administration and accommodations processes
- Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and procedures
- Partner with People leadership on compliance initiatives and process improvements
- Develop and maintain People metrics and dashboards
- Analyze workforce trends involving headcount, turnover, recruiting, compensation, and engagement
- Create ad hoc reports and presentations for leadership
- Use Excel and reporting tools to provide workforce insights
- Support benefits administration and employee enrollment
- Assist with open enrollment and employee education
- Coordinate employee programs, engagement initiatives, and People team projects
- Support performance management and talent development processes as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of HR, People Operations, HR Coordinator, HR Associate, or related experience
- Hands-on experience using Workday as a primary HRIS
- Experience creating reports, auditing employee data, and supporting HR transactions within Workday
- Strong understanding of HR data management, reporting, and system governance
- Ability to navigate Workday independently with minimal training
- Located in the Eastern timezone
- U.S. person eligibility may be required under applicable U.S. export control laws
- Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening
- Bonus: SHRM-CP or PHR certification, which can be in progress
- Bonus: Experience supporting multi-state employee populations
- Bonus: Experience in technology, engineering, manufacturing, or high-growth startup environments
- Bonus: Greenhouse or similar ATS experience
- Bonus: Experience supporting benefits administration and employee relations processes
