About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create appropriate programming based on initial and ongoing evaluations and client needs, using best ethical practices
  • Maintain clinical requirements for client supervision according to insurance, community mental health, and Gateway guidelines
  • Lead and mentor technicians on individual patient plan implementation and treatment quality
  • Support case management and continuing staff training and development
  • Independently manage client services and treatment-protocol supervision
  • Determine effective techniques for implementing treatment-plan goals
  • Conduct client assessments and design and maintain individualized treatment programs
  • Oversee accurate and organized client records, notes, data, and reports
  • Engage parents and caretakers in relevant parent training
  • Prepare for and attend client educational meetings, including IEPs, and develop treatment recommendations
  • Maintain required credentialing and licensing
  • Collaborate with internal staff and external stakeholders, including school personnel and outside service providers
  • Report directly to the Director of Clinical Operations, Director of Administrative Operations, and Clinical or Regional/Territory Director

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree in ABA or equivalent is a requirement
  • Maintain credentialing and licensing as required through procedures set forth by the state of Michigan and the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB)
  • Attend all required trainings, conferences, and colloquium to remain in compliance with Gateway policies and procedures
  • Maintain client privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations and Gateway policies and procedures
