  • Reduce maladaptive behaviors and promote positive behavior changes
  • Collect and analyze behavioral and progress data
  • Maintain detailed records and prepare reports
  • Educate and support parents and caregivers
  • Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and direct support staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and professional development
  • Engage with community resources and support networks
  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, professional standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Stay current with behavior analysis and autism treatment developments
  • Manage crisis situations using de-escalation techniques
  • Complete daily clinical documentation in SpringHealth’s EHR
  • Assist in developing staff training procedures and materials
  • Complete monthly and quarterly notes documenting client progress
  • Act as liaison for psychiatric supports and participate in ongoing assessments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB
  • Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral intervention
  • Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and behaviors
  • Understanding of CPT codes, payor rules, regulations, and policies
  • Knowledge of language grammar, punctuation, spelling, vocabulary
  • Knowledge of research-based accepted treatment modalities and assessment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods; infrequent lifting up to 50 pounds; frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, turning, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, walking, and climbing
  • Ability to review and interpret highly technical information, write technical materials, speak persuasively, analyze situations, define core issues, and draw conclusions
