Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Design and implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions
Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and emerging needs
Apply ABA techniques to improve social, communication, academic, and daily living skills
Reduce maladaptive behaviors and promote positive behavior changes
Collect and analyze behavioral and progress data to evaluate intervention effectiveness
Maintain detailed records and prepare reports for stakeholders
Educate and support parents and caregivers in implementing behavioral strategies at home
Provide guidance on challenging behaviors, communication, and social skills
Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and other professionals
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and direct support staff
Conduct performance reviews and provide team professional development
Engage with community resources and support networks
Ensure ethical, professional, and regulatory compliance
Stay current with behavior analysis and autism treatment research
Manage crisis situations using de-escalation techniques
Complete daily clinical documentation in SpringHealth’s EHR
Assist in developing staff training procedures and materials
Complete monthly and quarterly notes on client goal progression

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB
Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral intervention
Knowledge of age-appropriate activities/behaviors
Understanding of CPT codes, payor rules, regulations, and policies
Knowledge of language grammar, punctuation, spelling, and vocabulary
Knowledge of research-based accepted treatment modalities and assessment
Reliable transportation
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, infrequent lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, turning, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, walking, and climbing
Ability to review and interpret highly technical information, write technical materials, speak persuasively, and analyze situations to define core issues and draw conclusions
