About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help build the Youth ABA line of business for the new Jefferson City clinic
- Provide behavioral services to children while building the program
- Model and train staff in Positive Behavior Support methodology
- Serve on Interdisciplinary Teams and provide behavioral expertise
- Assess, design, train, monitor, and report on behavior plans
- Conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and interpret results
- Provide direct behavioral treatment, including replacement skills training, social skills training, crisis de-escalation, group and individual treatment, and skills coaching
- Participate in the on-call rotation for behavior issues and monitor challenging behavior
- Assist the State Director with department materials, manuals, and policies
- Follow client payor plan rules and regulations
- Fulfill BCBA supervision coverage across locations during vacancies or PTO
- Supervise clinic assistants and schedulers across coverage locations
- Complete incoming youth assessments and assign caseload coverage
- Complete PIPs/CAPs with the treatment team
- Track key performance indicators, including productivity, assessment due dates, certification dates, and payor rules
- Report staffing needs to the State Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctoral or master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required
- Three to five years of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) experience
- Ability to record/enter data neatly, accurately, and objectively, consistent with Oakwood requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to make independent decisions with good judgment and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel periodically to the clinic location
- Must be able to work in a hybrid position
