About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently research, assess, and follow up on new funding opportunities with institutional donors, foundations, and major donors
- Monitor grant deadlines
- Draft grant applications, concept notes, and timely reports in coordination with programmatic and finance teams
- Develop and maintain donor relationships
- Manage donor communications and organize events
- Create audience-appropriate content for applications, reports, CRM newsletters, and fundraising campaigns
- Maintain the grant database (CRM)
- Prepare income reports and use data to guide fundraising practices
- Ensure effective information flow between program and communications teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree (e.g., in International Cooperation, Humanitarian Assistance, Political or Social Sciences, Communications, Fundraising, or Business Administration) or comparable qualification
- At least three years of experience in fundraising, grant management, or donor relations, preferably in the nonprofit or humanitarian sector
- Demonstrated knowledge of Project Cycle Management as well as grant writing and management
- Excellent understanding of the donor landscape, compliance, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and financial reporting
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Excellent editorial and proofreading skills for producing audience-appropriate content
- Hebrew language skills are an advantage
- Strategic and pragmatic approach
- Highly reliable in meeting deadlines

- Willingness to travel occasionally for work
