About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support strategic analysis and recommendations through hypothesis-led problem framing, research, and analytics
- Support financial modeling, scenario planning, and market sizing to uncover high-impact opportunities
- Craft executive-level presentations and insights to shape leadership decisions
- Contribute to corporate planning, including annual business plans, Quarterly Business Discussions, and Enterprise and Divisional Objectives and Key Results
- Champion cross-functional strategic initiatives and deploy data-driven solutions to transform business outcomes
- Prepare strategic briefings and engage with government and regulatory partners
- Own components of deliverables supporting research and analysis on gaming, lottery, land-based gaming, and organizational health
- Present work to key members of OLG’s leadership team, including C-Suite and VP-level stakeholders
- Learn and grow while working with the team on challenging problems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in an MBA program
- Understanding of strategy development, financial modelling, and corporate planning
- Understanding of basic business concepts, including market sizing, benchmarking, and business metrics
- Ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and clear recommendations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of industry research, problem solving, and analytics methodologies
- Excellence in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
- Strong aptitude for structured and unstructured problem solving and quantitative analysis
- Resourceful and analytical approach to problem solving in ambiguous situations
- Drive to deliver in tight timeframes
- Collaborative, agile mindset
- Passion for gaming, entertainment, and public-sector strategy
