About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the overall Release Train Schedule across all digital platforms and drive visibility of release dates, milestones, and dependencies.
- Adapt plans and schedules during software development sprints and releases in response to emerging requirements and risks.
- Foster communication across labs and divisions regarding goals, priorities, decisions, and status.
- Communicate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to escalate impediments, manage risk, and drive improvement.
- Sequence product releases across the portfolio in alignment with priorities while managing dependencies and constraints.
- Maintain the overarching digital integrated release train plan.
- Analyze emerging trends and recommend actions to remove delivery barriers and mitigate risks.
- Track and report release train progress, status, risks, benefits, and required actions to leadership.
- Develop and implement delivery processes to achieve roadmap priorities efficiently and on schedule.
- Resolve issues with departments, divisions, and delivery partners while balancing priorities and resources.
- Enhance the release management framework, artifacts, and processes.
- Facilitate hand-off of releases to Digital Operations and IT Operations for production deployment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Master’s degree in business administration/management is preferred.
- Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer, SAFe Program Consultant or PMI-PgMP® equivalent experience preferred.
- 5-7 years of delivery experience, with evidence of increasing collaborations with vendors and senior leadership.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to apply agile principles, tools and techniques to lead, manage and help teams execute successful digital software product development.
- Ability to apply problem-solving skills and knowledge of Information Technology to a variety of complex situations.
- Strong Stakeholder Management Skills.
