About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent OLIPOP in the Seattle metro territory
  • Deliver monthly volume and distribution goals and overall market objectives
  • Conduct weekly route rides with DSD partners and food brokers
  • Identify opportunities in underperforming accounts and routes
  • Monitor inventory and proper use of P.O.S. materials
  • Follow through on commitments to distributor management, sales personnel, and the trade
  • Provide documented distribution, display, and sales reports for distributor management meetings
  • Implement and execute distributor incentive programs
  • Manage chain-retailer new item launches and retail programs
  • Gain additional account placement, including secondary points of purchase and cooler placement
  • Collaborate with field-marketing teams on plans to increase market share profitably
  • Assist stores with packing out and merchandising
  • Travel occasionally to assist other markets and retailers
  • Begin field visits between 7:00–8:00 AM local time, spending most time at stores or in the field
  • Report to the Regional Sales Manager, Pac NW

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Deep passion for OLIPOP and its mission
  • Obsession with understanding customer behavior
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage company and a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and ask the right questions
  • Strong planning, organization, and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Competence in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with Slack and Zoom preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Clean driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Travel within the market and occasional business travel required
