Key responsibilities & impact

Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets and track progress to manage project financial success and ensure timely completion
Manage complex contract negotiations
Lead execution of project plans by assembling and managing project teams, coordinating internal resources, and assigning responsibilities
Monitor progress and measure project performance against scope, schedule, and budget
Manage change requests and execute risk management strategies to minimize negative financial impact
Coordinate detailed reviews of technical work to ensure quality and contract compliance
Maintain positive client relationships and provide exceptional client service
Document project deliverables and maintain comprehensive project records
Mentor staff on project management best practices and use of Olsson project management resources

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong communication skills
Ability to contribute and work well on a team
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Project management experience including scope, schedule, and budget control
8+ years of experience in site design and development
Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE)
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Open to being based out of or relocating to/near Manhattan, KS
