Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple telecom projects simultaneously
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders and senior management
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; manage resources
Coordinate engineering, operations, sales, and customer service teams
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues; develop contingency plans
Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and provide stakeholder and senior management updates
Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
Serve as a subject matter expert on telecom trends, technologies, and best practices
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in technical field such as engineering, sciences, construction planning, or related area preferred; alternatively, an associate degree with equivalent experience is required
Minimum 6 years of experience in project management, with a focus on telecommunications or related industries
Proven track record of successfully managing complex telecom projects from initiation to completion
In-depth knowledge of telecommunications technologies, including network infrastructure, i.e. FTTx, Long-Haul, B2B; wireless communications, and data services
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred
Experience with project management tools and software, such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana
Ability to contribute and work well on a team
Strong communication skills
