  • Execute high-level analysis and review of project documents for compliance with standards, codes, and regulations
  • Oversee and monitor engineering processes and resources to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Develop and implement standards and guidelines for diverse engineering activities
  • Provide technical design training and mentoring to elevate team expertise
  • Support project management by organizing and effectively utilizing technical resources
  • Collaborate with project managers to deliver technical project aspects on time, within budget, and according to objectives
  • Exercise creativity, decision-making, and responsibility for design tasks within the discipline
  • Manage advanced project designs for mixed-use, commercial, residential, industrial, sports, school, and other site development projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 8 or more years of related Civil Engineering experience
  • Must be a registered professional
  • At least four years of experience supervising technical personnel
  • Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding client expectations through technical design work
  • Excellent client service orientation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Solid interpersonal and decision-making skills
  • Ability to generate innovative and effective solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to travel for in-office activities, client visits, and site visits as needed
