About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as lead engineer on complex projects and provide high-level technical engineering design
Execute QA/QC plans for the team
Mentor and train team members in technical design
Lead development of technical resources for the team and its projects
Supervise or direct professionals and technical staff in the design approach
Review contracts with administrative support
Promote efficiencies in producing quality work
Maintain quality control and check plans
Provide overall technical support and advise on complex projects
Provide additional project management when requested

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
8 or more years of related Civil Engineering experience
Must be a registered professional
At least four years of experience supervising technical personnel
Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals
Working knowledge of Civil 3D
Strong communication skills
Ability to contribute and work well on a team
Ability to travel for in-office activities, client and site visits as needed
