About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle incidents in 1st- and, in some cases, 2nd-level support as the first point of contact for colleagues
  • Support users with the operation of hardware and software
  • Document all activities in the Jira ticketing system
  • Analyze and resolve issues in client, network, and workplace environments
  • Install, configure, and replace notebooks, PCs, printers, monitors, docking stations, and presentation solutions
  • Carry out workplace relocations and hardware and software rollouts, including hardware refreshes, software distribution, and imaging
  • Support network-related tasks
  • Coordinate external service providers as needed
  • Work closely with IT colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in the daily IT service duty rota

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed IT training, for example as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration, or an equivalent qualification
  • Alternatively, relevant professional experience in IT on-site or field service, for example as an IT Service Technician
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
  • Initial experience in server administration is desirable
  • Experience in client support, hardware diagnostics, and the replacement and setup of IT hardware
  • Proficient use of ticketing systems such as Jira and remote support tools
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs
  • Initial experience with PowerShell, Wireshark, or the OSI model is desirable
  • Class B driving licence
  • Willingness to work occasionally at other locations
  • Strong service and solution-oriented mindset, with a genuine interest in direct user support
  • Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
  • Strong communication skills, friendliness, and resilience
  • Very good written and spoken German (C1)
  • Interest in new IT technologies and personal development
  • Willingness to undergo a security screening as part of the hiring process
