About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage client and inter-agency relationships for two biotech client accounts
  • Serve as the day-to-day client liaison and provide counsel
  • Partner with senior team leads to supervise client account workstreams
  • Recommend programs and activities and deliver against client goals
  • Delegate projects and allocate agency resources to client budgets
  • Develop and oversee annual plans, key messages, corporate narratives, reputation management, executive thought leadership, internal communications, and integrated media strategies
  • Develop and review materials for client milestones and social media channels
  • Collaborate with media, digital, and creative specialists
  • Work with senior counselors on strategy
  • Mentor, coach, and support team members
  • Maintain financial responsibility for accounts
  • Manage team utilization
  • Develop corporate social media strategies and patient video initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
  • At least 7 years’ PR/communications experience, preferably with healthcare experience
  • Understanding of the broad healthcare landscape, trends, and industry issues
  • Familiarity with the highly regulated pharma/biotech landscape
  • Strong client management skills
  • Ability to turn ideas into workable plans and proactively propose solutions
  • Ability to mobilize and motivate teams
  • Comfort managing junior support and partnering with senior leads
  • Exceptional judgment with team members, clients, and vendors
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Understanding of product portfolios, pipelines, data, and regulatory milestones
  • Willingness to work in the office a minimum of three days a week
