About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing dealer clients
  • Conduct up to three one-hour dealership consultations each day, providing data analysis and continuous improvement recommendations on marketing creative, strategy, programs, and platforms
  • Monitor advertising compliance for dealers in assigned territory
  • Support annual business planning with Area personnel
  • Review quarterly dealer marketing plans and recommend optimization based on performance
  • Partner with designated OEM field representatives to coordinate marketing improvements and facilitate joint dealership consultations
  • Understand and drive KPI improvement
  • Examine client performance to identify opportunities for improvement within fixed operations
  • Communicate proactively with clients up to Dealer Principal / General Manager levels
  • Establish and maintain business relationships with dealership personnel
  • Communicate OEM program value propositions and align them with dealer goals
  • Strategize overall marketing performance and solutions
  • Identify and recommend program changes and marketing strategies
  • Maintain communication with dealership management at assigned locations
  • Manage retention, product penetration, and growth of assigned dealerships
  • Serve as advocate and liaison between dealer clients and internal teams
  • Manage customer issues and conflict resolution
  • Achieve engagement, utilization, and performance targets
  • Write and distribute daily contact reports to dealerships and OEM field office personnel
  • Receive and submit account updates, enhancements, and recommended changes
  • Maintain dealer contacts and business activity in required logs
  • Share results-oriented OEM marketing solutions, effectiveness, and challenges
  • Complete required training program and assessments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business (automotive or marketing preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of automotive / marketing experience with a Digital Advertising focus
  • Demonstrated experience working with Dealer Principals & General Management personnel
  • Strong preference for premium luxury segment experience
  • Ability to drive and/or fly to assigned dealership locations
  • Spend up to 50% of overnights in hotels
  • Maintain valid driver’s license
  • Ability to develop relationships with key decision-makers
  • Identify, qualify, and resolve customer objections, problems, and needs in a diplomatic manner
  • Develop strategies, action plans, and metrics to monitor results
  • Effectively communicate ideas, challenges, and solutions
  • Communicate and give presentations in front of groups
  • Effectively convey processes and training
  • Listen to others and appropriately act on information provided
  • Multi-task, prioritize, organize, and coordinate projects to meet simultaneous deadlines
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision and under continual deadline pressure
  • Work effectively in both a team and individual setting
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced organization
  • Use Salesforce CRM, Word, Excel, Email, and Internet
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
