About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Make and contribute to award-winning creative for the Subaru of America client account
  • Lead projects and run productions independently
  • Adapt and deliver high-level creative work across briefs of varying size and scope
  • Balance core client assignments with ad hoc briefs and new business opportunities
  • Work across broadcast, OLV, social, digital, experiential, influencer, and special projects
  • Shape and execute strategic creative that advances clients’ businesses
  • Provide creative feedback, motivate and teach creatives, and solve problems when necessary
  • Build client relationships and trust
  • Present full-funnel campaign strategy
  • Lead cross-departmental integration on projects
  • Manage schedules, meetings, reviews, feedback, and internal/client needs
  • Teach and mentor junior creatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a traditional advertising agency Art Director position
  • Designer background candidates must have proven portfolio experience working as an Art Director on creative campaigns
  • Proven record of concepting, selling, and shipping full-funnel creative work across TV, online video, social, influencer, digital, and experiential activations
  • Awarded/Credited work expected
  • Ability to work independently and with a creative partner required
  • Expertise with Adobe Suite design tools
  • Experience building client relationships and leading projects and productions
  • Strong presentation, time management, feedback, mentoring, and cross-departmental integration skills
