About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and develop a deep understanding of clients’ strategic issues, initiatives, and competitive position
  • Ensure analytics efforts produce clear, compelling, and actionable insights
  • Construct insightful narratives through sophisticated analytics techniques
  • Participate in measurement plan development and execution
  • Ensure timely follow-through on scheduled and ad hoc deliverables
  • Recommend and implement research supporting consumer insight gathering and strategy
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes
  • Lead, mentor, and train analysts and managers
  • Present reports, POVs, and other materials to clients by phone and in person
  • Contribute to consumer segmentation and audience identification and exploration
  • Design tests to measure the incremental impact of media on business outcomes
  • Manage cross-functional day-to-day tasks and priorities
  • Partner with Planning and Investment teams on annual budget setting, media plan development, and budget and plan optimization
  • Lead and mentor direct reports, assess capabilities, provide career-growth roadmaps, and establish skill-development goals
  • Track industry trends and developments through research and training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Industry knowledge in marketing analytics and data
  • Experience in integrated marketing related to media and/or customer journey development, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, and ROI development
  • Demonstrated knowledge in audience-based marketing and data-driven advertising
  • Analytic skills, critical thinking, and ability to clarify strategic and operational issues related to data and analytics
  • Problem-solving skills to drive issues to resolution
  • Proven leadership ability and strong client relationship experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate unstructured business solutions into innovative customer marketing programs
  • Ability to train and coach colleagues
  • Organization, attention to detail, prioritization, business writing, presenting, analysis, and project management skills
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations
  • A university degree
  • 5–7 years of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing, or digital consulting
  • Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but not required
