About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and execute event and experiential marketing programs
- Manage day-to-day operations of a grassroots golf program with 36 local qualifiers throughout the U.S.
- Register local dealerships and schedule events with golf courses
- Manage event logistics and program reporting
- Support activations related to the client’s PGA TOUR event sponsorship
- Monitor golf industry trends and marketing tactics
- Manage the client’s customer concierge inbox
- Support development of creative assets and consumer communications
- Address client challenges with impactful solutions
- Support weekly status calls and key internal and external meetings
- Serve as an agency contact for clients, colleagues, and brand partners
- Manage sponsorship asset and activation-material inventory
- Support vehicle logistics and onsite activations
- Align partners on timelines and keep projects moving alongside target dates and budgets
- Supervise an Account Trainee and/or temporary staff when applicable
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-2 years of marketing/sponsorship experience
- Experience with professional/amateur golf and/or event management
- Eagerness to make an overall account contribution with new partnerships and projects
- Strong communication, writing and client service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed
- Anticipated moderate travel (20-45%)
