About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day management of the client’s major global sponsorships
  • Support the client’s overall sponsorship strategy
  • Partner with internal specialty groups to plan and develop client programming supporting partnerships
  • Drive cross-functional project management for integrated marketing campaigns and global ways of working
  • Craft strategic recommendations rooted in fan passions and aligned with brand initiatives and target audiences
  • Lead relationships with sponsorship partners, properties, and vendors as the client’s key day-to-day contact
  • Lead delivery, management, and development of sponsorship branding assets and integrations
  • Build, manage, and track program budgets for internal and client reporting
  • Oversee direct reports and support their career development
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
  • Travel domestically and internationally, including non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends, to support client programming

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in account management, project management, or client service at an agency, brand, or sports or entertainment property
  • Passion for and expertise in sports, entertainment, gaming, music, and/or celebrity and lifestyle culture
  • Strong ability to lead a diverse team and support career development
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience working with global rights holders and/or on global campaigns
  • Confidence presenting to senior clients and partners
  • Keen understanding of business processes and how sports sponsorship, event marketing, communications, and events impact the bottom line and drive brand objectives
  • Ability to develop, create, and implement POVs, strategic marketing plans, and program development documents for several programs simultaneously
  • Experience overseeing executional deliverables and program activations across multiple projects
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work weekends or holidays as needed
  • Valid passport required
  • Moderate anticipated travel amount of 20–45%
