About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop compelling, strategically sound copy across payer, market access, and healthcare communications
  • Translate complex clinical, economic, HEOR/RWE, and market access information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging
  • Create content for value propositions, payer presentations, sales materials, leave-behinds, digital content, campaign concepts, reimbursement and access materials, and other market access communications
  • Contribute to messaging frameworks, headlines, key concepts, data-driven narratives, and supporting copy
  • Interpret clinical studies, published literature, market research, and other source materials to develop accurate and persuasive content
  • Partner with Art Directors to develop and execute integrated creative work
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Account, Editorial, Project Management, and other agency disciplines
  • Participate in internal and client presentations, communicating the thinking and rationale behind creative work
  • Develop and revise manuscripts through the review process, including referencing, annotation, and preparation for MLR submission
  • Ensure scientific and factual accuracy while maintaining the integrity of the creative idea and brand strategy
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities across assigned brands while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
  • Incorporate feedback from senior creative team members, clients, and cross-functional partners to strengthen the work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Professional writing experience within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical communications, market access, HEOR, value communications, or a related field
  • Experience developing communications for payer, market access, managed care, HEOR, value communications, or other sophisticated healthcare audiences strongly preferred
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex scientific, clinical, economic, and data-driven information
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and messaging skills, with an ability to adapt content for different audiences and formats
  • Previous healthcare or pharmaceutical agency experience preferred, but not required for candidates with relevant market access or scientific communications experience
  • Interest in collaborating with Art Directors and multidisciplinary creative teams
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory and MLR processes, including referencing and annotation, preferred
  • Comfortable receiving and incorporating feedback, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to client discussions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and willingness to continue developing creative and strategic writing skills
