About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Consult with clients to identify business problems and opportunities and develop practical analytics roadmaps
  • Lead consumer segmentation and audience identification processes
  • Advise client leads and senior clients on audience strategy, measurement, and advanced analytics
  • Share points of view regarding industry changes in data and analytics
  • Lead development and execution of measurement plans and revise them based on learnings
  • Distill complex concepts and analytic solutions into compelling data stories with actionable conclusions
  • Identify brand and portfolio growth opportunities and support adoption of new analytics technologies
  • Investigate the impact of new data sources and technologies on marketing
  • Provide ad hoc support to solve strategic marketing problems
  • Lead and mentor direct reports, assess capabilities, and establish career-growth goals
  • Partner with Planning and Investment teams on annual budget setting, media plan development, and budget/plan optimization
  • Recruit new talent
  • Research industry trends, engage in training, and attend industry events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Industry Knowledge in marketing analytics and data (1st and 3rd party data solutions, data lakes, data clean rooms, aggregated and user level data)
  • Experience in integrated marketing related to media and/or customer journey development, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, ROI development
  • Expertise in audience-based marketing and data-driven advertising
  • Solution development: analytic skills, critical thinking and clarifying strategic & operational issues as relates to data and analytics
  • Problem-solving skills to drive issues to resolution
  • Proven leadership ability and strong, impactful client relationship experience
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to train and coach colleagues for growth, including business writing and presenting, conducting analysis, and project management (scope, budgeting, timing)
  • A university degree
  • 11+ years of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing or digital consulting
  • Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but not required
