About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for marketing sciences solutions across a portfolio of clients
  • Define and execute data strategies to uncover data opportunities and maximize value from 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-party data
  • Advise clients on how data and analytics can unlock strategic opportunities
  • Use data creatively to solve client business challenges and support growth
  • Provide thought leadership on analytics, research, measurement, and ad-technology concepts, methods, and tools
  • Develop audience solutions with Planning and Investment teams
  • Advise client leads and senior clients on audience strategy, measurement, and advanced analytics
  • Partner with Planning and Investment teams on annual budget setting, media plan development, and budget and plan optimization
  • Share points of view on industry changes in data and analytics
  • Investigate the impact of new data sources and technologies on marketing and brand verticals
  • Lead and mentor direct reports, assess capabilities, and establish career-growth goals
  • Provide methodological support, coaching, training, and advice to direct reports and broader teams
  • Recruit new talent
  • Lead development of audience and measurement playbooks
  • Build the pipeline and own Marketing Sciences revenue goals
  • Help develop and grow DTA offerings through points of view and knowledge exchange
  • Research industry trends, engage in training, and attend industry events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Industry knowledge in marketing analytics and data, including 1st- and 3rd-party data solutions, data lakes, data clean rooms, aggregated data, and user-level data
  • Experience in integrated marketing related to media and/or customer journey development, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, and ROI development
  • Expertise in audience-based marketing and data-driven advertising
  • Analytic skills, critical thinking, and ability to clarify strategic and operational data and analytics issues
  • Problem-solving skills to drive issues to resolution
  • Proven leadership ability and strong client relationship experience
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate unstructured business solutions into innovative customer marketing programs
  • Ability to train and coach colleagues in business writing, presenting, analysis, project management, scope, budgeting, and timing
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations
  • Passion for adopting emerging technologies in advertising
  • A university degree
  • 13+ years of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing, or digital consulting
  • Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but not required
