About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits
- Treat patients in-office and in testing centers, with occasional telehealth visits
- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning activities
- Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
- Use specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures
- Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in, or completed within the last year, an accredited Family or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency program
- Current Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Resident, or completed the relevant residency within the last calendar year and scheduled to take the next available Board Exam
- State licensed in California before the One Medical start date
- MD or DO
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Openness to feedback and reflection
- Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to patient needs
- Authorized to work in the United States
