About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits
- Treat patients in-office and in testing centers, with occasional telehealth visits
- Participate in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities
- Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
- Apply specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures
- Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues
- Deliver primary care in One Medical’s supportive, tech-enabled environment
- Build lasting patient relationships and provide high-quality care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current Residents / Fellows completing training in 2026 or 2027 who are interested in Chicago-area offices
- Currently enrolled in, or completed within the last year, an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency program
- Must presently be a Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Resident, or have completed the relevant residency within the last calendar year and be scheduled to take the next available Board Exam
- State licensed in Illinois, obtained before the One Medical start date
- Passion for human-centered primary care
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
- Openness to feedback and reflection
- Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs
- U.S. work authorization verification through E-Verify/Form I-9
