About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a patient panel with broad patient needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits
  • Treat patients in-office and in testing centers
  • Conduct occasional telehealth visits
  • Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning activities
  • Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
  • Apply specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures
  • Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current resident/fellow completing training in 2026 or 2027
  • Currently enrolled in, or completed within the last year, an accredited Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency program
  • Must be a Board Eligible Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics resident, or have completed one of these residency programs within the last calendar year and be scheduled to take the next available Board Exam
  • State licensed in California before the One Medical start date
  • Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
  • Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
  • Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
  • Passion for human-centered primary care
  • Desire to contribute to a healthcare delivery team
  • Openness to feedback and reflection
  • Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
  • Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to patient needs
  • Authorization to work in the United States
