About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs
- Conduct acute, chronic, and well visits
- Treat patients in-office and in testing centers
- Conduct occasional tele-health visits
- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning modalities
- Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
- Use clinical training and perform in-office procedures
- Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues
- Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
Requirements
What you’ll need- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing all ages (0+)
- Board certified in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of the One Medical start date
- State licensed in California before the One Medical start date
- Passion for human-centered primary care
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Openness to feedback and reflection
- Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
