About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits
  • Treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional tele-health visits
  • Participate in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities
  • Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
  • Use specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures
  • Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current Resident/Fellow completing training in 2026 or 2027
  • Currently enrolled in, or completed within the last year, an accredited Family or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency program
  • Must presently be a Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Resident, or have completed the relevant residency program within the last calendar year and be scheduled to take the next available Board Exam
  • State licensed in Texas before the One Medical start date
  • Passion for human-centered primary care
  • Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
  • Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
  • Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
  • Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs
