About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Treat patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous learning modalities
- Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates through daily huddles
- Apply specific clinical training to provide exceptional virtual patient care
- Provide virtual clinical care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year as part of the Virtual Medical Team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed an accredited FNP program with a national certification
- In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), or 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Currently licensed in IL with ability to obtain additional state licenses
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts, with every other Saturday and/or Sunday required
- Ability to work current shifts ranging from 12pm–11pm EST or 1pm–12am EST
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs
