About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs
  • Conduct acute, chronic, and well visits
  • Treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits
  • Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning activities
  • Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
  • Apply clinical training and perform in-office procedures
  • Provide patient care through a schedule of 24 in-office patient-care hours, 8 remote virtual-patient-care hours, and 8 remote non-patient-facing hours per week

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed an accredited FNP or PA program with a national certification
  • In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 1 year in such a setting plus either a 1-year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
  • State licensed in California by the One Medical start date
  • Passion for human-centered primary care
  • Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
  • Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
  • Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
  • Openness to feedback and reflection
  • Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
  • Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to patient needs
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
