About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a patient panel with broad patient needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits
  • Treat patients in-office and in testing centers, with occasional telehealth visits
  • Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning activities
  • Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
  • Apply clinical training and perform in-office procedures
  • Provide primary care through One Medical’s in-office and virtual care services, on-site labs, and preventive, chronic-care, illness, and mental-health programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification
  • Practiced as an Advanced Practitioner in the past 5 years for at least 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting, OR 1 year in outpatient primary care plus either a 1-year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in urgent care
  • State licensed in New Jersey by the One Medical start date
  • Passion for human-centered primary care
  • Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
  • Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
  • Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
  • Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
  • Openness to feedback and reflection
  • Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
  • Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to patient needs
  • Authorization to work in the United States, verified through E-Verify
