About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits
  • Treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional tele-health visits
  • Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous learning modalities
  • Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
  • Apply specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures
  • Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification
  • State licensed in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
  • In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting, OR 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting coupled with either a 1-year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting
  • Experience in LARC (IUD + Nexplanon) insertion and colposcopy procedures is a plus
  • Passion for human-centered primary care
  • Ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
  • Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
  • Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
  • Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
  • Openness to feedback and reflection
  • Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
  • Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
