About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a patient panel with broad patient needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits
- Treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits
- Participate in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities
- Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
- Apply clinical training and perform in-office procedures
- Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification
- State licensed in California by the One Medical start date
- In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting, OR 1 year in outpatient primary care plus either a 1-year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in urgent care
- Experience in LARC (IUD and Nexplanon) insertion and colposcopy procedures is a plus
- Passion for human-centered primary care
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Desire to contribute to a team changing healthcare delivery
- Openness to feedback and reflection
- Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to patient needs
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
