About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits
- Treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional tele-health visits
- Participate in continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities
- Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
- Apply clinical training and perform in-office procedures
- Provide care through One Medical’s in-office and 24/7 virtual care services, supporting its primary care mission
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification
- Practiced as an Advanced Practitioner within the past 5 years for at least 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting, OR 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting coupled with either a 1-year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting
- State licensed in California by the One Medical start date
- Passion for human-centered primary care
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
- Openness to feedback and reflection
- Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
