Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs
Conduct acute, chronic, and well visits
Treat patients in-office or in testing centers
Conduct occasional tele-health visits
Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous learning activities
Collaborate with in-office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
Use specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures
Provide family medicine care to adults aged 14 and older

What you’ll need

Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification
State licensed in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting, OR 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting
Experience in LARC (IUD + Nexplanon) insertion and colposcopy procedures is a plus
Passion for human-centered primary care
Ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
Openness to feedback and reflection
Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
