About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a patient panel with broad patient needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits
- Treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits
- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous learning activities
- Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
- Use specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures
- Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues
- Provide in-office patient care, remote virtual patient care, and remote non-patient-facing work according to the weekly schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
- Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of starting
- California state license obtained before the One Medical start date
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
