About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits
Treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional tele-health visits
Participate in continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities
Collaborate with in-office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
Use specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures
Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues
Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Requirements

What you’ll need

Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of the One Medical start date
State licensed in Massachusetts before the One Medical start date
Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
Passion for human-centered primary care
Openness to feedback and reflection
Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
Readiness to adapt behavior to meet patient needs
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
